I Made Jeff Bezos Deep Bellow Laugh (MuaHaHa)
(FICTION) You are who you are. It’s hard to hide behind a mask when your shadow and true colors come out anyway. That’s why we pay good actors good money! I am sure Jeff Bezos loves theater, drama, and flair, yet he will always be his authentic self in the pursuit for love, life, and adventure.
I walk into TD Bank, the bank my parents introduced me to and that they themselves use for their personal affairs. I trust the bank and it’s been good to me. I walk in through two sets of sliding glass doors past the ATM on the right (that’s also been very good to me) and into the green wonderland of TD Banking.
I have a “normal” conversation (behind a plexiglass; an “innovation” since COVID-19; I wonder what COVID-20 will be, according to Bill Gates?) with the young (in his early 20s), light-skinned, maybe Dominican clerk wearing eyeglasses. The most striking memory from that interaction was his surprise that I wanted his business card to keep in touch. I thought he was relatable enough where it would be easy for me to ask him banking and investing questions that would be typically considered stupid or immature for someone of my age.
